D-backs activate Taijuan Walker and send Silvino Bracho to Triple-A

The Arizona Diamondbacks activated thrower Taijuan Walker from the 10-day disabled list (blister on the right index finger) and scheduled to pitch Wednesday against the Tigers.

Walker, 24, is 4-3 with a 3.46 ERA in nine starts in 2017, his first season with the D-backs.

As a corresponding move, Arizona sent the Venezuelan reliever Silvino Bracho to Triple-A Reno.

Bracho, 24, has a 8.53 ERA in seven games with the D-backs this season.
