D-backs Bullpen Failed to Contain Dodgers Offensive

Chris Taylor pitched a full-base run in the bottom of the ninth on Thursday, giving the Los Angeles Dodgers a 5-4 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks to complete a three-game sweep.

The Dodgers lead the NL West and are followed by the Diamondbacks.

Taylor’s single against T.J. McFarland eluded the desperate stab of left fielder Ray Fuentes and scored for Logan Forsythe.
Josh Fields (4-0) took the win in the ninth.

The defeated was Fernando Rodney (3-3), who walked Forsythe with full bases and left the Dodgers 4-2 and without outs.

Jake Lamb hit two homers for Arizona, including a solitary in the eighth.
