D-backs impose on the Tigers with Peralta’s home run in the 9th inning

David Peralta homered to left-center in the ninth inning to closer Justin Wilson to lead the Arizona Diamondbacks to a 7-6 win over the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday.

Arizona reliever Archie Bradley (2-1) worked the eighth inning to stay with the win. Zack Greinke, who was given a 6-0 lead in the third chapter, worked five innings and two-thirds in which he admitted five runs, all dirty and five hits.

The Dominican Fernando Rodney hung the zero in the novena to arrive at 17 rescues.
