Greinke and Farmer ready for interleague series showdown

The D-backs have 6-1 in interleague games, but all those games were at the Chase in Phoenix, where they have the best home record in the majors. Arizona gets its first taste of the designated hitter this season when the D-backs visit the Tigers on Tuesday night.

Fresh off the paternity list after the birth of his second child, ace Zack Greinke will start for the D-backs. He’s in the middle of a good season after a tough 2016 campaign. In 13 starts this year, the former American League Cy Young Award winner has 3.20 ERA and 100 strikeouts with only 17 walks in 84 1/3 innings.
