Yasmany Tomás, Jeff Mathis and Daniel Descalso homered in a six-run eighth inning and the Arizona Diamondbacks won the New York Mets 7-3 on Monday in the fifth straight loss of New Yorkers.
Jake Lamb also hit a home run for the Diamondbacks, who joined the team list in taking advantage of the battered Mets bullpen.

Tomás broke a 1-1 draw with a three-run homer to Hansel Robles (4-1). Mathis’ two-run homer hit the Dominican pitcher, who suffered a second straight start after a good start to the season.
Paul Goldschmidt appeared to give Arizona a 2-1 lead to open the episode in the 8th against Robles. But after a review of the video, the umpires determined that the ball had hit the yellow line of the batter’s eye in the center and the decision was changed to a double.
Lamb received an intentional ticket and then left Tomás, who sent a 3-2 pitch from Robles well above the same line.
